
Oral Presentation
GUIDELINES FOR REGULAR ORAL PRESENTATION
The presenting author of the accepted abstract should register to the conference not later than 15 October 2025.
Registration
Submission of Presentation File
The presenting author of the accepted abstract is required to submit their presentation file to the ICFAS 8 Secretariat icfas2025@upv.edu.ph on or before November 14, 2025. Email subject must include “Regular Oral Presentation”. The presentation should be saved as Microsoft PowerPoint Format (at least 2010 version) with slide numbers at the lower right corner. Check the program guide and use the presenter’s code (e.g. FishComm_02) as filename of your PowerPoint presentation.
The Secretariat will no longer accept presentations on the day of the conference.
Mechanics

1. Each presentation is allotted 15 minutes with a maximum of 12 minutes to discuss the highlights of
their research and 3 minutes to answer the questions from the Session Chair and/or audience (Q & A).
2. A timekeeper will be assigned to each session and will notify the presenters on the remaining time for each presentation. Notification cards will be raised when the time reaches 7 minutes (“5 minutes left”) and 10 minutes (“2 minutes left”) for the presenter to wrap-up their presentation by then. A “Time is up” card will be raised when the time reaches 12 minutes. The 3 minutes (Q & A) will then follow shortly after each talk.
3. The presentation should be delivered in English.
4. Certificates of Recognition will be given to all oral presenters at the end of each session.

Poster Presentation
GUIDELINES FOR REGULAR POSTER PRESENTATION
Registration
The presenting author of the accepted abstract should register to the conference not later than 15 October 2025.
Submission of Poster
The authors of the accepted poster abstracts are required to submit their posters on site to the ICFAS 8 Secretariat starting 16 November 2025 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon and remove them on 19 November 2025 after the Closing Program. The poster will be made available for viewing during the two-day duration of the conference.
Mechanics
1. The poster must have the following specifications: 48 inches high x 36 inches wide (121.9 x 91.4 cm) in
portrait orientation.

3. The presenting author should stand with their posters during the designated time for poster sessions.
